STALE FOOD AT CANTEEN..

It was Republic Day, one of the most important days in the Indian calender, literally.
What do students expect? Sweets or some flavoured drink or a packet of Mixture or atleast decent food to compensate hunger of students..
but it was all going the other way round at NITW canteen. Guess what!

Stale rice, rice cooked on 25th Jan. was used to prepare fried rice on 26th Jan. at NITW canteen, 'the food hub for half of the campus'..

Council got the information of such bad supply and took an immediate action by calling former DSP for inquiry and canteen is shut. The commissioner of Warangal was approached and he helped in taking further steps to deal with the case.

Proposals for 'new', 'better' canteen are being made. Timings will also be extended to late night..

All we need is just your support.

Contribution to poor student from students council fund

    An amount of Rs. 10,000 /-  was given to a first year student, Vimal Kumar, as it was difficult for him to cope up with the sudden increase in the fee.
    Thanks to Students' Council for its helping hand.

Fund collected for MCA students

1.36 Lakhs were paid to the parents of our beloved MCA student Praveen Kumar, who had a sad demise in an electric accident at Bhavani Theater, during the beginning of the semester.
All the amount was collected from students of different sections and staff of various departments in the college.

We pray that his soul will rest in peace

            Snooker tables will be another highlight of the stadium in the campus.

Water coolers at all departments

     Around 25 water coolers are already into Warangal. These water coolers will be placed at different places in the campus like departments, sac, other working places.
     Work is delayed due to the need to establish water pipelining connecting distant places in the campus.

Parotas now available at staff canteen

With the help of Students' Council the staff canteen is now providing Parotas and Chapatis from 5pm to 11pm.
Thus staff canteen now provides tea, coffee, biscuits( varied range ;) mean it ) bhajjis, samos etc.
